Connection Church
Connection Church exists to make disciples who live Christ-centered, Spirit-empowered lives.
Lead Pastor
Jeremy Mercer
Pastor Jeremy Mercer is passionate about accurately and thoroughly preaching and teaching the Word of God. His goal is, as the Apostle Paul said in Acts 20:27, “I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God.”
Pastor Jeremy also not only strives to “teach what accords with sound doctrine” (Titus 2:1) but also to be practical and pragmatic so people can live out the teaching in their daily lives, emphasizing James 2:1, “But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.”
His desire is to lead Connection Church to be a church that is “healthy and growing and full of love…” (Ephesians 4:16 NLT) and that leads people to be genuine followers of Jesus according to Luke 9:53 and John 14:15.
“I grew up in the church and have been a pastor for 28 years. I’ve seen all the junk. Let’s be the church that God has called us to be, the church that we see in the New Testament. There is no perfect church, but by the grace of God, and with the help of the Holy Spirit and the truth of the Word, we can become who God has called us to be.”
